This hotel suits me perfectly with excellent wi-fi, free parking, and a cozy bar/lounge area. I appreciate how the staff returned my lost documents during my first stay. Highly recommend for a great experience! Coming back for a xmas.

The Riverside Lodge is elegantly decorated, especially during the Christmas season with fresh trees and a lovely bar area featuring beautiful log fires. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing our last-minute needs for an additional room. The meals, particularly dinner, were outstanding, showcasing a talented chef. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, and the koi pond added a unique touch to the dining experience.

I had a wonderful time here enjoying the spacious rooms and the beautiful restaurant area which was decorated so nicely, especially during the holiday season. It was also just a short stroll away from attractions like the Scottish Maritime Museum and Eglinton Country Park, making it perfect for weekend explorations.

The hotel features cozy rooms, free WiFi, a nice bar, and a lovely reception area. My experience was terrific. we felt like treated like royalty, nothing too much trouble.

We had a wonderful time here enjoying the amazing tapas and the comfort of our spacious room. The lounge was perfect for relaxing with friends while listening to a pianist, and the swimming pool was a nice touch for unwinding after a long day. The only hiccup was that the coffee during breakfast wasn't great, but overall, we were really pleased with our stay! 😊

Had a great time with friends at this place! We explored nearby attractions like Culzean Castle and enjoyed some golf. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of options. A nice lounge area to unwind in after a day out. Would recommend a room at the back for a quieter stay.

The room was dusty, and the food quality was exceptional.

check-in was super easy and the lady at the reception was really polite. the bar and restaurant looked amazin with nice decor. our half board food was amazin as well, portion sizes were just right. the standard double room had everything we needed for a comfy stay. really enjoyed the atmosphere overall!

the room was pretty basic, kinda old and could use some refresh. also, the shower could have been better, it wasn’t the best experience.

The rooms, though showing signs of age in some corners, have decent layouts that work well for families or solo travelers alike.

The bathrooms, while of reasonable size, left much to be desired, especially the sink—it's barely big enough to wash your hands. Breakfast proved to be a chaotic ordeal. lines snaking out to the bar and food options often served cold or sparsely arranged were disappointing. Seating near the toaster posed a comfort risk with heat radiating uncomfortably, not ideal for families with children. On top of that, the young staff, while trying their best, seemed overwhelmed during peak times, affecting the overall dining experience.

We had an enjoyable stay at Riverside Lodge Hotel! The twin room was spacious with comfortable beds, and we loved the lovely green area outside. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making our experience even better.

The only hiccup was the slow service during dinner, but the delicious food more than made up for it. I’d recommend checking out the cocktails, just be sure to watch out for spills! 🍹

I had the best time enjoying the beautifully decorated dining areas, which created such a welcoming atmosphere! The food was exceptional, especially the haggis starter and steak pie that left my taste buds dancing. To top it all off, the staff went above and beyond with personalized service, making dining feel like a special occasion every single day!

Just came back from an awesome getaway with friends. The hotel was a solid base for exploring the area, especially loved visiting Culzean Castle and the beautiful beach nearby. Our room was comfy and clean, and the staff were super friendly. Dinner was delicious! Just a heads up , breakfast could use a little improvement.

Had a bit of an issue when we tried to order dessert. The waiter took quite a long time before letting us know they weren't accepting more orders, which was frustrating.
